EGUSD students win educational video awards in local competition
May 8, 2012
Elk Grove Unified students turned in a strong showing at the 2012 Student Educational Video Awards (SEVAs) on Monday, May 7, taking home awards in all four categories across all grade levels.
Open to all Sacramento county students (K-20), the contest celebrates the talents and visions of student video producers. Winners and participants are recognized at SECC's SEVA Award Night and winning videos and producer interviews are shown on cable and online. The SEVAs give students of all ages a chance to share their vision through video or other multimedia about educational topics and issues in their daily lives. The categories include documentary, instructional, public service announcement (PSA), and school news.
