Elk Grove Adult and Community Education’s (EGACE) new Career Technical Institute (CTI) will hold three orientations during the month of July for prospective adult students for a variety of affordable, semester-long training programs for careers in the office and medical fields.

Each program leads to at least one industry-recognized certificate and will begin in September. The programs include office specialist; administrative assistant; medical assistant – administrative; medical assistant – clinical; medical assistant – billing and coding; and billing and coding specialist. The programs range in price from $2,295 to $5,975, which includes registration fees, books, materials and testing fees. 

EGACE also partners with Boston Reed to provide certificated career training programs for Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Veterinary Assistant, ICD-10 Medical Billing and Coding, Personal Fitness Trainer, and Nursing Home Administrator.

Orientations will be held on the following dates from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the EGACE offices (8401-B Gerber Road, Sacramento 95828):

• Tuesday, July 17th
• Thursday, July 19th
• Wednesday, July 25th
